Job Description:

The role of the Industrial Relations Specialist is to develop and implement strategies that foster positive employee relations. This includes addressing and resolving workplace conflicts, grievances, and disciplinary matters.

  • Investigate and address employee complaints in a fair and timely manner.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to labor law compliance.
  • Collaborate with management to resolve employee disputes and promote a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Labor Law Compliance: Stay up-to-date on relevant labor laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and recommending changes as needed.
  • Collective Bargaining: Negotiate with labor unions to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Policy Development: Develop, update, and communicate company policies related to industrial relations.
  • Training and Development: Provide training programs on industrial relations policies and procedures for employees and management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in industrial relations or a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
