Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and communicate laws and regulations to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Develop and implement personnel rules and regulations, as well as interpret and administer human resources-related provisions of collective bargaining agreements.
  • Analyze processes and procedures in assigned functional areas, conducting research and statistical analyses to identify areas for improvement.
  • Establish collaborative relationships with various functional and departmental areas of the organization.
  • Train and evaluate subordinates, preparing preliminary budget reports in assigned functional areas.
  • Represent the Human Resources Department at meetings and advise the Human Resources Director on alternative courses of action.
  • Presents written and oral reports on a wide variety of human resources related issues.
  • May participate in labor negotiations and/or recommend preliminary proposals, including cost implementation projections.
