The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless delivery of municipal services.

  1. Essential Office Functions
  • Handle incoming calls, messages, and correspondence, routing them to the appropriate staff member or individual with precision.
  • Guide visitors and the general public to the correct personnel with courtesy and professionalism.
  • Manage mail collection and delivery with attention to detail.
  • Date stamp all correspondence, maintaining an organized filing system that is easily accessible.
  • Assist in planning meetings, conferences, and conference calls, preparing necessary materials with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Coordinate preparations for Council and committee meetings with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain an adequate inventory of office supplies, ordering as needed.
  • Respond to inquiries from the public with clear and concise information.
  • Provide word-processing and secretarial support as required, meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations.
