Public Relations Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to manage our company's public relations activities. This role involves interacting with media representatives, pitching stories to press outlets, preparing media kits, and organizing press conferences.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for creating press releases and speeches for organizational leaders, developing advertising and marketing communications material, and writing articles for corporate newsletters.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with the media and other external stakeholders
  • Manage the development and dissemination of press releases, media kits, and other public relations materials
  • Organize and coordinate press conferences, events, and other public relations activities
  • Assist in the development of advertising and marketing communications material
  • Write and edit articles for corporate newsletters and other internal publications
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Confident communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Familiarity with media needs and relationships
  • Proactive, reliable, responsible, and accurate with attention to detail
  • Able to keep information confidential
  • Tactical understanding of all primary social media platforms
  • Able to work in high-stress environments, often for long hours
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude
  • Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to management
