Key Position Overview

The Solution Architect will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing industry-leading solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Design and document high-quality end-to-end solutions that meet customer requirements, are fit for purpose, scalable, and secure.
  2. Lead technical teams across multiple projects, delegating work as appropriate to utilize people and resources effectively.
  3. Support planning for the technical workstream, ensuring deliverables meet project milestones.
  4. Define and challenge customer business and technical requirements to ensure strategies and solutions align with customer needs.
  5. Provide technical governance and assurance for proposed solutions throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  6. Identify and mitigate existing business risk or risks associated with solution design and delivery.
  7. Deep-dive key initiatives to help overcome technical incidents, complex problems, and/or realize opportunities.
Required Expertise:
  1. Proficiency in Application, Integration, Data, Technology, and Security architecture.
  2. Good understanding of SaaS, Cloud hosting, and Integration technologies.
  3. Experience in development of distributed/scalable systems and high-volume transaction applications.
  4. Broad understanding of software development lifecycle with experience of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  5. Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, have excellent attention to detail, and work effectively under deadlines.
  6. Ability to think strategically and present technical concepts in an uncomplicated manner confidently to an executive audience with well-summarized, concise information.
  7. Ability to independently lead teams and execute on responsibilities with minimal guidance and oversight.
  8. Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
  9. Able to thrive in fast-paced environments with frequent change as standard.
  10. A strong teamwork ethic with a proven ability to work collaboratively.
  11. Professional qualifications such as ITIL3, TOGAF, etc.
  12. Excellent English with outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Experience in the CPG, Retail, ERP sectors is highly beneficial.
