Executive Director of Healthcare Services

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will develop and implement operational strategies to ensure the hospital's smooth functioning, integrating strategic plans with operations. They will oversee profit and loss statements and related resources to deliver top-notch healthcare services and achieve financial stability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop an operational plan for delivering exceptional healthcare services and increasing patient numbers in Outpatient (OPD) and Inpatient (IPD) departments.
  • Ensure the efficient working of the hospital, providing necessary guidelines for its functioning.
  • Prepare proposals with estimates for new projects as defined in the hospital's five-year plan.
  • Participate in strategic and operational planning under the CEO's leadership.
  • Manage human resources effectively based on workload and healthcare standards within approved parameters.
  • Supervise staff training and development for outstanding performance.
  • Implement initiatives for transforming hospital culture to encourage positivity, support colleagues, share knowledge, take responsibility, adapt to change, and empower employees.
  • Collaborate with communities, educational institutions, and NGOs for healthcare awareness campaigns.
  • Provide leadership support to ensure best facility management, Ambulance Services, Transport, Hostels, and Cafeteria.
  • Ensure the execution of preventive maintenance plans for biomedical equipment.
  • Manage the supply chain effectively with proper planning of Medical and Non-Medical items.
  • Participate in budget planning process and facilitate the CEO for arranging approval of operating budget.
  • Ensure the hospital's financials are managed within budget guidelines and according to financial policies and compliance to laws.
  • Achieve Revenue and Profitability targets through high-quality healthcare services and monitor progress regularly.
  • Design and implement process improvements, effective purchasing, and optimal resource utilization within budget parameters.
  • Implement technology integration and hospital operations via Hospital Information Management System (HIMS)/ SAP.
  • Deliver excellent medical and nursing care to patients and plan rounds for consistent monitoring and improving healthcare services.
  • Execute marketing strategies to promote high-quality healthcare services with a focus on social media for achieving revenue targets.
  • Implement ISO 9001:2015 Quality standards and ensure periodic audits are successful with highest scores.
  • Develop operational plans for high-quality healthcare services and ensure outstanding patient experience.
  • Administer quality documentation, manage quality audits, and implement audit points with coordination of Directorate TQM.
  • Execute quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programs in line with guidelines.
  • Implement Continuous Medical Education Programs and measure impact on patient care.
  • Implement Riphah Mission and Islamic Ethical Values in true spirit for staff at Teaching Hospitals.
