Chief Financial Officer

As a key member of the leadership team, the Chief Financial Officer plays a vital role in driving business growth and operational excellence through strategic financial leadership.

  • Prepare and finalize accurate and timely financial statements as per IFRS and local regulations.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and annual operating plans in collaboration with all business functions.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely completion of annual audited accounts.
  • Maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions for LCs, working capital financing, and treasury operations.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with all taxation matters including sales tax, income tax, and regulatory filings.
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital requirements, and optimize financial resources to meet operational needs.
  • Design and implement robust costing models to accurately capture standard and actual product costs.
  • Analyze cost variances and recommend efficiency improvements to enhance profitability.
  • Oversee the centralization of the accounts department to streamline reporting and standardize financial controls.
  • Provide timely, relevant, and accurate financial insights to management across COS, selling, and distribution functions.
  • Support the development of business models and tools for improved decision-making and strategic planning.

Requirements
  • Qualified CA from a recognized body.
  • 15–20 years of progressive experience in finance, with 8+ years in a leadership role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong expertise in banking, treasury, costing, taxation, and financial reporting.
  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and working with external auditors.
  • Solid track record as a financial advisor to CEO/Board, with strong business acumen and decision-support capabilities.
  • Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
