Human Resources Generalist
About the Job:This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strategic thinker to plan, implement, and evaluate employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
The ideal candidate will have professional experience across all HR disciplines, including employment, benefits, performance management, compensation, employee relations, training and development, and conflict resolution.
- Develop and maintain a work structure by creating job requirements and descriptions for all positions.
- Establish a recruiting program, conduct interviews, and counsel managers on candidate selection.
- Prepare employees for assignments by developing orientation and training programs.
- Implement a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys, scheduling job evaluations, and preparing pay budgets.
- Ensure planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by coaching and disciplining employees, managing conferences, and resolving grievances.
- Establish and maintain human resource policies and procedures.
- Organize and work independently on multiple assigned tasks/projects and complete assignments within specified deadlines.
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing to all levels of staff and management.
