Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Business Partner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

About the Role:

The HR Business Partner will be responsible for managing core HR operations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, overseeing HRIS systems, leading performance management cycles, and implementing a Learning Management System (LMS) to support employee development. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive HR professional to shape people practices and digital learning in a high-growth startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, including employment contracts, statutory benefits, and workplace safety.
  • Maintain and update HRIS systems, including employee records, attendance, and leave management.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations, managing grievances and facilitating dispute resolution.
  • Lead the performance evaluation cycle: coordinate self-assessments, peer reviews, and manager feedback; facilitate goal setting and approvals.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
  • Implement and manage a Learning Management System (LMS) to facilitate employee training, track learning progress, and organize digital content for staff development.
  • Conduct HR audits and training to ensure ongoing compliance and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3–5 years HR experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems.
  • Experience in performance management, including 360° feedback cycles and goal setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • SHRM or local HR certification.
  • Experience with digital HR documentation and statutory compliance.
  • Fluency in English and Urdu.
Local Terminology:
  • Familiarity with terms such as EOBI, SESSI, gratuity, and provident fund.
