Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to internal stakeholders and external customers.

Responsibilities
  • Monitoring: Monitor the performance of applications, systems, and hardware to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot technical issues with development teams and assist in resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Incident Management: Manage incidents from initial reporting through to resolution, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.
  • Problem Management: Identify and resolve recurring problems that may be causing significant disruptions to our services.
  • Change Management: Plan and execute changes to our systems and processes to ensure seamless integration and minimize disruption.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Perform thorough root cause analysis to identify the underlying causes of issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Knowledge Management: Maintain and improve our knowledge management system to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is available to all stakeholders.
  • Service Level Agreements: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain service level agreements that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of our technical support services.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Skills: Proficient in Azure Application Insights, SQL queries, New Relic, Splunk, Grafana, and other relevant tools and technologies.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
