Business Central Consultant

The Business Central consultant role works closely with clients and partners to tailor Business Central solutions and integrate them with third-party systems. This involves ensuring compliance with support service level agreements (SLAs) and resolving issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and deploy Business Central solutions, ensuring seamless integration with other systems.
  • Analyze client requirements, create detailed plans, estimates, and specifications for implementation projects.
  • Develop functional and technical specifications for Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC enhancements and integrations.
  • Coding and programming tasks are performed according to development standards.
  • Test plans are developed, and participation in code testing ensures workability, completeness, and quality.
  • All aspects of the Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations are configured.
  • Maintenance of documentation and version control for all entities is ensured.

Requirements:

  • A minimum bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Dynamics NAV and Business Central Development is necessary.
  • Experience working with cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure is beneficial.
  • A minimum of 2-3 full life-cycle implementations is expected.
  • Strong software development skills, including the ability to use development tools like Microsoft C/AL and .NET, are essential for developing solutions for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Familiarity with modules such as Finance, WMS, and Supply Chain is advantageous.
  • API integration with other eCommerce, Logistics, and Retail software is also required.

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge and experience in EDI integrations would be beneficial.
  • Accounting knowledge is an added advantage.
