Regional Business Development Director

Job Opportunity
This role entails leading all branch activities and progress in the region, encompassing marketing and sales efforts. The ideal candidate will possess strong relationships with purchase departments, end users, and biomedical teams at hospitals. They will direct their team and provide leadership to achieve maximum profitability and growth aligned with company values.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Branch Leadership:
The successful candidate will oversee overall branch functions and activities, developing marketing and sales plans for their region. These plans must be reviewed and approved by the Marketing and Sales Departmental Head. Daily liaison with the Marketing and Sales Departmental Head is essential for effective planning and coordination.
2. Image Development:
This role involves building a positive image of the organization in local hospitals as a trusted and reputable supplier and after-sales service provider. This goal will be measured by increased equipment sales in the region.
3. Marketing and Sales Functions:
The ideal candidate should possess excellent presentation skills and lead all marketing and sales activities, including product presentations and demonstrations. Regular visits to hospitals, both independently and with their team members, are necessary. A business plan and sales strategy must be developed to ensure attainment of company sales goals and profitability. Action plans for individual and team members must be prepared to effectively search for sales leads and prospects.
4. Office Management and Administration:
The successful candidate will handle all office general administrative matters, including office attendance, petty cash handling, bank accounts management, official communication with the head office, stock handling, and reporting to the head office as per policy.
Requirements:
Essential Skills:
1. Minimum graduate degree; preference given to Master's degree holders in Marketing.
2. At least 5 years of experience in marketing and sales in a similar capacity.
3. Expert knowledge of Computer Operations/MS Office is essential.
Desirable Qualifications:
1. Preference given to candidates with work experience in surgical and medical equipment fields.
2. Willingness to work according to the organization's vision.
3. Good personality and attitude.
4. Good communication and presentation skills.
