Import and Purchase Manager

We are seeking an accomplished Import and Purchase Manager to join our team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for all imports including parts and raw materials for the industry. This includes managing relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely deliveries.

Additionally, the Import and Purchase Manager will be responsible for all local purchases of the company, handling procurement tasks, and coordinating logistics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage import and purchase operations, including procurement, negotiation, and delivery management.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify purchasing needs and develop strategic plans.
  • Analyze market trends and make informed decisions on procurement strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on import and purchase activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field such as business administration, international trade, or supply chain management.
  • At least 3 years of experience in import/export or purchasing roles.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze market trends and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced Excel skills.
