**Job Title:** Resident Revenue Administration AdvisorBased in Pakistan, this role involves working with the Federal Board of Revenue to support the implementation of their transformation plan. The successful candidate will deliver and coordinate capacity development locally, including liaising with IMF headquarters, and supporting project managers with reviewing needs, preparing workplans, and managing delivery.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in revenue administration, including legislative and regulatory environments, organization and strategic management, modernization and reform approaches, use of information technology, and range of functional procedures and controls. They will also have strong organizational, planning, and project management skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise the FBR on project management methodologies and techniques.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of the transformation plan.
  • Provide counsel to senior management and staff on strategic, technical, and operational issues.
  • Assist with the identification of timely and effective mitigation strategies for the resolution of issues.
  • Support internal and external engagement activities.
  • Coordinate capacity development on revenue administration, tax policy, public finance management, and climate policy.
  • Organize and support short-term expert assignments.
  • Review CD needs and prepare annual workplans.
Requirements:An advanced university degree or equivalent qualification relevant to professional work, and at least four years of relevant professional experience.Demonstrated organizational, planning, and project management skills.Fluency in English with strong oral and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
