Job Title: Healthcare Promoter

We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to promote Infection Prevention and Control practices in Islamabad. The successful candidate will have experience working in a teaching/community setting and be adept in communication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote and demonstrate Infection Prevention and Control practices through visual aids and relevant IEC material.
  • Conduct engagement sessions among healthcare workers at far-flung healthcare facilities and communities.
  • Implement different project activities through Mobile Van Unit (MVU) to promote Infection Prevention and Control Practices.
  • Represent IPC, promote IPC, and maintain local partnerships through regular attendance at local health forums/groups/meetings.
  • Attend team meetings and provide updates on community engagement and contribute to quarterly reports as directed by the project lead.
  • Support communications strategies, including public open events, training, and awareness-raising sessions, communications materials, social media, etc.
  • Monitor and support supervision on IHHN developed IPC checklist to improve IPC practices and program assessment on IPCAF Tool.

Education: MBBS/BDS with preference given to IPC-certified healthcare professionals. Experience: One-year house job and registration with PMDC is mandatory.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and have a strong understanding of infection prevention and control practices.
