Key Responsibilities:
  • Makes professional presentations to doctors and healthcare professionals in assigned territories for business generation.
  • Ensures knowledge of products and competition to establish customer value.
  • Updates contact records and maintains call records through a management information system.
  • Develops weekly and monthly call plans to improve coverage of A, B & C class customers based on defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Submits call reports through the management information application as scheduled.
  • Monitors competitive activities in the geographical area and provides feedback to the District Field Manager for marketing strategies.

Principal Responsibilities:
  • Represents Pfizer by calling on physicians, hospitals, and other health-related organizations within an assigned territory.
  • Makes professional presentations using selling skills to listed doctors on approved indications of Pfizer products to increase prescriptions.
  • Submits reports regarding calls made to doctors and chemists to the District Field Manager through the management information application as per defined KPIs.
  • Follows the approved tour program, makes planned calls accordingly, and presents the coverage of A, B & C class customers.
  • Adopts ethical practices while promoting products to customers and passes on desired information about product benefits.
  • Arranges Product Group Meetings with doctors to discuss one or two products in detail.
  • Updates knowledge on own and competitive products.
  • Collects and reports information on promotional and marketing moves of the competition.
  • Provides periodic feedback to the manager and marketing group on these promotional activities.
  • Ensures stock availability of major promotable products at retail level in the territory for honoring prescriptions generated by customers.
  • Follows plans to achieve assigned objectives for increased prescription flow from identified doctors and reports findings periodically to the District Field Manager.
  • Forwards technical queries raised by doctors to the Medical Division for clarification with intimation to the District Field Manager.
  • Ensures proper dressing, attire, and maintenance of records/details kit and vehicle provided.
  • Submits expenses and leave plans as per deadlines.
