Room Service Associate

This position involves providing support to the House-Keeping department.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times in guest rooms, public areas and back of house areas.
  2. Have a thorough understanding and knowledge of rooms related services and products.
  3. Maintain a clean and organized workspace and surrounding area at all times.
  4. Handle guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and report any complaints or problems to the Supervisor.
  5. Hand over lost and found items to the Supervisor/Executive Housekeeper along with full information.
  6. Understand and adhere to rules and regulations for fire, hygiene, health and safety.
  7. Report on duty punctually wearing the correct uniform at all times.
  8. Develop a good rapport and working relationship with staff in the place of work and other departments.
  9. Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper or Supervisor.
  10. Assist in quarterly, bi-yearly and annual inventory of operating equipment.

Additional Information:

The work schedule is 8 hours shift. The minimum qualification required is Matric - Max Intermediate level.
