We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to drive our growth strategy and expand partnerships with colleges and universities in USA and Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships with educational institutions, aligning our platform with their academic and administrative needs.
- Conduct thorough market research to understand the specific challenges and needs of the education sector.
- Develop targeted strategies for engaging with institutional clients, creating customized proposals, and presenting our value proposition to academic decision-makers.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure.
- Pitch our platform to educational leaders, showcasing how it enhances student engagement and academic performance.
- Negotiate terms, finalize contracts, and ensure a smooth handoff to the partnerships team for onboarding.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with universities, ensuring a deep understanding of their evolving needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams (product, marketing, and client success) to ensure the successful implementation of our platform within partnered institutions.
- Actively work to expand existing partnerships, identifying opportunities for upselling or introducing new features and services.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging trends in the higher education sector and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Represent us at educational conferences, webinars, and networking events to increase our visibility and attract potential partners.
- Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators related to business development efforts, ensuring that goals and revenue targets are met.
