Administrative Officer

">Job Description:

The role of an Administrative Officer is a critical position that requires effective management and coordination skills. As an integral part of the team, you will be responsible for handling various administrative tasks such as correspondence, document management, and staff welfare. You will also be required to ensure timely submission of reports and returns, maintain office security, and update records of all documents/files.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handling correspondence related to faculty and staff matters, including employment, contract extensions, promotions, postings/transfers, resignations/terminations, retirements/pensions, gratuity, and benevolent funds.
  • Managing Annual Appraisal Reports, accommodation, medical cases, house hiring, discipline, transportation, pay & allowances, trainings, leave, repairs/maintenance, conferences/seminars, orientation, convocations for students.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Proficiency in Office Management and Computer Skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Terms & Conditions:
  • Candidates must attach scanned copies of their academic/professional documents.
  • Last education certificate/degree must be attested/verified by relevant authorities.
Ineligibility Criteria:
  • Weak academic profile.
  • NUST employees with less than one year of service or lacking NOC from Head of Institution.
  • Candidates in the process of pursuing a required degree.
  • Medically unfit candidates.
