The ideal candidate for this position will have a proven track record of success in business development, with a strong background in sales and leadership.
We are seeking an ambitious and skilled Business Development Director who will lead all business development efforts within the organization.
This role requires identifying and qualifying prospective leads to develop new business partnerships with clients and gain business.
Evaluation of existing partnerships and sales efforts will also be required to build on what works and change what doesn't.
The successful candidate will use prospecting strategies to lead initial outreach to new customers and stay up-to-date on the latest processes and trends of the Technology industry.
Sales targets and specific performance metrics will need to be set, aligned with business strategies.
The role involves managing assigned leads through the full business development cycle from prospecting and qualifying to close.
Helping to shape the company's long-term objectives and determining plans for how to meet them is also an essential part of this job.
Innovative ideas to support customers and boost brand awareness will need to be generated regularly.
Manage our current sales funnel as well as developing new business prospects.Achievement of these goals will be measured by tracking and recording activity on accounts and closing deals.
The successful candidate will work closely with marketing staff to ensure that prerequisites are fulfilled within a timely manner.
Positioning our organization in the market and using knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiation strategies is crucial.
Conduct market research and analyzing and investigating price, demand and competition.Foresight into sales targets and ensuring they are met by the team will be expected.
- Analyze data and reports to assess sales strategy effectiveness and make informed decisions.
- Implement process improvements to enhance sales efficiency.
Requirements:
- A prior experience in selling via telemarketing to foreign countries within the Technology industry is essential.
- Strong written/verbal communication skills, including the ability to call, connect and win potential clients, are necessary.
- Leadership, management, and mentoring skills are required.
- Ability to perceive and settle issues by proposing and executing innovative solutions is vital.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to details is necessary.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while remaining highly organized, optimistic, and coachable.
- A verifiable successful history of achievement in sales is required.
- Strong ability to follow processes and qualify prospects and new projects prior to arranging sales meetings.
- Expertise in networking and relationship building.
- Able to motivate others on a team to help them succeed.
- Able to generate a variety of reports and give presentations.
- Well-organized with the ability to communicate in an encouraging and stimulating manner, on a frequent basis with upper management, individuals, groups, and subordinates.
- Knowledge of current sales trends, best practices and methodologies.
- Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies.
- Development of custom sales strategies with a targeted audience in mind.
- Self-motivated with a proven track record of meeting sales objectives by identifying, developing, & closing.
- Able to understand and communicate a company's value proposition, required to differentiate from competitors.
- Able to establish and maintain effective working reliability to focus on client needs with a commitment to quality and customer service.
