As a skilled Business Analyst, you will connect business stakeholders with the development team, ensuring that software solutions meet organizational needs.

Responsibilities
  1. Gathering Requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements. Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to understand user needs and processes.
  2. Evaluating Business Processes: Assess current workflows, identify areas for improvement, and propose solutions to optimize efficiency.
  3. Defining Functional Specifications: Create detailed specifications, user stories, and use cases. Define acceptance criteria aligned with business objectives.
  4. Facilitating Stakeholder Communication: Act as liaison between stakeholders and the development team, facilitating communication and managing expectations.
  5. Translating Requirements into Design: Translate business requirements into technical specifications and validate system design.
  6. Test Planning and Execution: Assist in test planning, create test scenarios, and participate in testing activities to ensure requirements are met.
  7. Change Management: Assess impacts of changes, develop plans, and support implementation for smooth transitions.
Documentation and Training

Prepare comprehensive user manuals, training materials, and system documentation. Conduct training sessions and provide user support.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Project Manager.
  • Experience in software development projects, preferably within the insurance industry.
  • Strong understanding of insurance processes, policies, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in requirements gathering, business process modeling, and documentation.
  • Experience creating specifications, user stories, and use cases.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and SDLC processes.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience with insurance systems is an asset.
  • Certifications like CBAP are desirable.

This role requires a technical mindset and analytical approach. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
