About the Job:
ECO - 4 (Energy company) is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Officer to join our team. This role focuses on preparing and managing property contracts related to our energy efficiency improvement services.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare comprehensive property contracts that clearly outline the scope of energy efficiency improvements offered, including:
- Internal and external wall insulation
- Loft insulation
- Heating controls
- Ventilation systems
- Draught proofing
- Undercuts
- Accurately incorporate benefit descriptions and technical specifications into each contract.
- Check and verify Energy Saving Trust (EST) ratings for each property and report relevant data to government authorities.
- Review and monitor Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) to ensure properties meet required standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of government regulations and funding requirements related to energy efficiency improvements.
- Develop strong working relationships with property owners, internal teams, contractors, Engineers and regulatory bodies.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with all stakeholders to manage expectations and resolve conflicts where necessary.
- Handling all incoming emails and calls related to property queries and prepare clear, informed responses to customers via emails, messages, etc.
- Liaise with the Complaints Manager to update and manage complaints processes and procedures.
· Ensuring complete information capture, investigation notes, and correct paperwork are documented and maintained.
· Investigate complaints comprehensively and objectively in accordance with company policies and procedures, sector requirements and client contractual obligations.
- Ensure and maintain a high level of customer service at all times by taking control of any customer complaints that arise.
Requirements
Qualification and Experience:
· Proven experience in compliance, contracts administration, or energy efficiency programs.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Demonstrated ability to build relationships and manage stakeholder expectations.
· Effective conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
· High level of attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
· Strong organizational and time-management skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and document management systems.
