Job Description – HR Intern

Position: HR Intern

Department: Human Resources

Location: Onsite – Rawalpindi, Pakistan

Duration: Internship (with possibility of full-time role based on performance)

Shift: Night Shift (aligned with U.S. working hours)

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our team. This role provides hands-on exposure to various HR functions within a U.S.-based medical billing company. The intern will assist the HR department in recruitment, employee engagement, compliance, and administrative tasks while learning HR processes in a corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in recruitment and selection (job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, conducting initial assessments).
  • Maintain and update employee records (attendance, leaves, contracts, documentation).
  • Support onboarding and orientation of new hires.
  • Assist HR team in handling employee queries related to policies and benefits.
  • Prepare and maintain HR reports (probation tracking, employee database, exit analysis).
  • Assist in implementing HR policies, compliance requirements, and labour laws
  • Support in organizing employee engagement activities and events.
  • Handle day-to-day administrative support for the HR department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's/Master's in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration or related field.
  • Strong communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced night-shift environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in learning.
