Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Software Project Manager with strong technical and strategic expertise to lead the successful delivery of AI transformation projects—including Generative AI—for our enterprise customers. You will manage complex, multi-stakeholder engagements across global client organisations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality and innovation.
The ideal candidate has a technical background in AI and enterprise software development, is an expert in Agile project management, and possesses strong skills in requirement analysis and proposal writing. You will serve as the critical link between business needs and technical execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full lifecycle of AI and Gen AI projects from inception to delivery.
- Perform business requirement analysis and translate them into clear technical deliverables.
- Prepare compelling proposals, project plans, and statements of work.
- Work closely with enterprise clients to understand their objectives and tailor AI solutions accordingly.
- Manage cross-functional delivery teams including data scientists, AI engineers, software developers, and analysts.
- Run Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and maintain project velocity.
- Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and dependencies.
- Ensure clear communication across all stakeholders—internal and external.
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and KPIs, providing regular status reports.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of project delivery processes and methodologies.
Required Experience & Skills
- Proven track record in managing AI/ML and Generative AI projects at scale for enterprise clients.
- Strong technical foundation in artificial intelligence and enterprise-grade software development.
- 5+ years of hands-on project management experience in a technology consultancy or enterprise environment.
- Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and Agile project tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Expertise in requirement gathering, solution scoping, and writing technical/business proposals.
- Exceptional client-facing and stakeholder management skills—able to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience managing globally distributed teams and delivering projects in multi-timezone environments.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- Formal certifications: AgilePM, PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master.
- Familiarity with cloud AI platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps pipelines.
- Knowledge of security, compliance, and governance considerations in AI systems.
