Optimize Engineering Core Pvt. Ltd., a leading manufacturer of appliance parts, is looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Import Documentation Assistant to join our Supply Chain Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth import operations and compliance with documentation and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage complete import documentation (BL, Invoice, Packing List, COO, etc.)
- Coordinate with shipping lines, banks, customs agents, and clearing authorities for documentation and clearance
- Track shipment status and ensure timely follow-up to avoid demurrages or delays
- Liaise with banks for LC documentation and other import-related paperwork
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all import transactions
- Perform field coordination tasks including visits to banks, ports, and customs offices as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in import documentation and logistics coordination
- Familiar with customs clearance procedures, LC handling, and bank documentation
- Must be able to ride a motorcycle with a valid license
- Comfortable with outdoor travel for official tasks
- Preference will be given to candidates residing near Port Qasim
