Business Development Manager

Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives and strengthen RAG Engineering's presence in Pakistan. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, managing key client accounts, and driving revenue growth across target sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business development strategies for assigned sectors and regions within Pakistan.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the downstream and midstream oil & gas, fertilizer, chemical, food, and mining industries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, EPC contractors, OEMs, and government stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming projects or tenders.
- Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals in collaboration with engineering and management teams.
- Support the tendering process and lead negotiations through to contract award.
- Represent RAG Engineering at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.
- Achieve sales and business development targets set by management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or a related field); MBA preferred.
- 5–8 years of experience in business development, sales, or project management within industrial sectors.
- Proven track record of securing projects or contracts in oil & gas (downstream/midstream), fertilizer, mining, chemical, or food processing industries.
- Strong understanding of industrial supply chains, EPC processes, and procurement cycles in Pakistan.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
- Willingness to travel across Pakistan as required.
