Job Overview:

TransLinguist, a leading global language service provider, is seeking an intern to join our team as a Vendor Relations Intern. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in the translation and interpretation industry while contributing to the success of major projects across various industries.

Position Responsibilities:

As a Vendor Relations Intern, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the Vendor Relations Associate in their day-to-day activities to support the smooth operation of the department.
  • Onboarding vendors to the TransLinguist's platform.
  • Collaborating with other departments to clarify project parameters and gather necessary information.
  • Assisting in vendor communications and basic negotiation tasks.
  • Assisting in the onboarding process for linguists, ensuring necessary documentation is completed.
  • Contributing to the preparation and maintenance of project documentation.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with contract translators and proofreaders.

Essential Skills and Experience Required:

To succeed in this internship, you should have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with additional languages considered a plus.
  • Currently enrolled as a university student or fresh graduate with a degree in Business Management.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to multitask.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and carry out assigned tasks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure effectively.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office and Windows.
