Position Overview:

This role focuses on securing full next-day coverage, finalizing daily reports, and setting up the morning team for success. The Manager is critical for ensuring continuity and complete handoff between shifts.

Core Responsibilities:

● Ensure team coverage and productivity goals are consistently met through active performance monitoring and support.

● Conduct bi-weekly or monthly 1:1s, as needed, with Case Managers to review KPIs, provide coaching, and address performance concerns.

● Promptly identify underperformance and request PIPs through Training/QA for bottom performers.

● Analyze performance data to identify trends, skill gaps, and training needs.

● Promote accountability through clear expectations and ongoing feedback.

● Monitor hourly, daily, and weekly coverage metrics to ensure steady progress and balanced workloads.

● Track docket-per-hour performance, targeting an average of 2-4 dockets per hour.

● Review rate approvals up to $150 and compare against work completed.

● Review hearing reports for rate issues and recommend corrective actions.

● Approve time-off requests and monitor timecard compliance.

● Adjust shifts to meet caseload demands, including early, late, and weekend coverage.

● Lead bi-weekly or monthly all-hands meetings and host daily huddles as needed.

● Celebrating the team wins and promoting engagement and morale.

● Escalate urgent performance or operational risks to the Coverage Manager.

Shift-Specific Responsibilities:

● Guarantee that 100% of next-day cases are fully covered before end-of-day.

● Submit the EOD (End-of-Day) chart, including all open cases and available rate approvals.

● Set up early shift coverage to address any leftover cases the next morning.

● Ensure a smooth and complete handoff to the AM Manager, including case status and any pending actions.

● Moving all cases in soft lock status into pending at the end of the shift.

Requirements:

● Experience in managing teams and ensuring team coverage and productivity goals are met.

● Ability to conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to team members.

● 3-5 years of experience in team management or a similar role

● Ability to monitor and adjust shifts to meet caseload demands, including early, late, and weekend coverage.

● Ability to handle urgent performance or operational risks and escalate to the Coverage Manager.
