Job description

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Customer Support Specialist to join our team at a leading UK Transport Company. This position involves a mix of customer service and sales duties, where you will handle leads, assist customers with their bookings, and provide exceptional support throughout their transport experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in both customer support and sales, with the ability to manage CRM systems and deliver smooth, high-quality customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Management:

Track and manage leads generated through customer inquiries on our website.

Accurately input customer details into the CRM system to ensure proper tracking and follow-up on all leads.

Sales Responsibilities:

Reach out to leads by phone to convert them into customers by offering customized transport solutions.

Answer customer inquiries, provide necessary information, and assist with booking arrangements over the phone.

Close sales and offer ongoing support to ensure customer satisfaction with their bookings.

Customer Support:

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers post-booking, ensuring seamless communication throughout their transport journey.

Resolve any customer issues or concerns related to transport services, providing prompt and effective solutions.

Assist customers with any changes, cancellations, or questions related to their bookings or trips.

Collaboration and Reporting:

Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition from the sales process to post-sales support.

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, documenting any issues and ensuring timely resolutions.

Requirements:

Previous experience in customer support or sales, preferably within the transport or logistics sector.

Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to engage customers effectively over the phone.

Familiarity with CRM systems and a proven ability to manage and track leads efficiently.

A customer-focused approach, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide outstanding service.
