We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Customer Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide on-site support for customers, focusing on printer and photocopier troubleshooting, maintenance, and configuration on networks.
Responsibilities:
- Install and configure HP and Xerox printing devices at client or office locations.
- Troubleshoot and repair hardware, print quality, and paper-handling issues.
- Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and part replacements as per OEM standards.
- Maintain detailed service logs, documentation, and inventory records.
- Ensure timely response to breakdowns and adhere to preventive maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate with vendors for warranty claims, escalations, and replacement parts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Electronics, Electrical, Communication, or Computer Science.
- At least 5 years of experience in printer and MFP maintenance and network configuration (preferable).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of printers and photocopiers.
- Knowledge of Document Management System (DMS) and Managed Print Services (MPS) software.
