We are now looking for an Accounts & Finance Executive - ACCA Finalist to join our Finance team and contribute to the continued growth and success of our company.

Role Overview

As an Accounts Executive at H Pharmacy, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations. This position is ideal for an ACCA finalist who is looking to gain hands-on experience in accounting within the pharmaceutical industry while furthering your professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting & Reconciliation:

Assist in preparing monthly and year-end financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal accounting standards. Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy.

• Accounts Payable & Receivable:

Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring that all payments and receipts are processed accurately and timely. Assist in resolving discrepancies and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and customers.

• Taxation & VAT:

Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and liaise with the tax department to ensure timely and accurate tax filings. Ensure compliance with all local and international tax regulations.

• Management Accounts & Analysis:

Prepare and analyze monthly management accounts, providing detailed variance analysis to the senior finance team. Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes.

• Audit & Compliance:

Support external auditors during the annual audit process, ensuring all necessary documentation is provided. Ensure all accounting practices adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Inventory & Costing Support:

Assist in tracking and managing inventory costs, ensuring accurate product costings and stock reconciliations. Support the finance team with inventory-related reports and analysis.

• Process Improvement & Documentation:

Assist in identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and enhance efficiency. Document and streamline accounting processes to improve workflows.

Qualifications & Experience:

• ACCA Finalist (must have completed the majority of ACCA exams and be in the final stages of qualification).
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or retail sector.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS) and local tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
• Familiarity with inventory management and costing methods in a pharmaceutical context is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
