Position Overview

The Payroll Executive is responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance with statutory requirements, and timely salary disbursement. This role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of payroll systems, and the ability to handle confidential employee information with integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process monthly payroll for all employees accurately and on time.
  • Maintain payroll records, including attendance, leave, overtime, and deductions.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Calculate and process statutory deductions such as EOBI, Social Security, Income Tax, Provident Fund, etc.
  • Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to management and regulatory authorities.
  • Coordinate with HR to update employee records (new hires, resignations, transfers, promotions, etc.).
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Handle employee queries related to salaries, deductions, and benefits.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing payroll data and documentation.
  • Assist in continuous improvement of payroll processes and system enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 1–3 years of experience in payroll management or related HR/Accounts role.
  • Knowledge of payroll software and ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws, taxation, and statutory compliance.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Strong confidentiality, integrity, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
