Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Manager Billing located in Bahria Town Phase IV, Islamabad, Pakistan. The
Assistant
Manager Billing will be someone who combines strategic oversight with hands-on expertise. This role is ideal for someone who understands the
complete medical billing cycle
, has strong
auditing capability
, and is ready to
actively support the team in Verifications of Benefits (VOBs), Authorizations, and Accounts Receivables management
, especially in the initial phase.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support the
    full medical billing cycle
    with emphasis on compliance and accuracy.
  • Conduct
    regular audits
    of billing workflows and team performance to ensure efficiency and minimize errors.
  • Assist the team with VOBs and Authorizations
    to ensure clean claim submissions.
  • Support AR follow-up
    , including denial management and resolution, while also guiding team improvements.
  • Monitor performance metrics, identify process gaps, and recommend best practices.
  • Collaborate with billing leadership to maintain high-quality service standards.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Strong knowledge of the
    U.S. medical billing cycle
    , payer guidelines, and claims management.
  • Familiarity with
    VOBs, Authorizations, and AR processes
    , with the willingness to
    actively support these functions as needed
    .
  • Proven ability to identify issues through audits and data analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Adaptable — capable of
    balancing supervisory oversight with hands-on operational support
    .

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in managing Billing Processes, Invoicing, and Billing Systems
  • Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate and improve billing performance
  • Experience in Revenue Cycle Management
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in industry billing software and tools (especially Tebra and Practice Fusion)
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
