Role Overview
As Assistant Manager - HR & Talent, you will play a pivotal role in executing PaySa's people strategy across recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and employee engagement. You will work closely with business leaders to ensure HR operations are audit-ready, inclusive, and aligned with organizational goals. This role demands a proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and a passion for building high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
· Design and implement recruitment strategies aligned with business needs across regional offices
· Source, screen, and assess candidates using job boards, social media, and professional networks
· Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and manage the offer-to-onboarding lifecycle
· Maintain candidate pipelines for critical roles and future expansion
HR Operations & Compliance
· Ensure HR practices comply with local labor laws and regulatory bodies specifically the State Bank of Pakistan
· Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS and ensure data integrity
· Support payroll inputs, documentation, and HR audits in collaboration with finance and compliance teams
· Assist in policy rollout and employee handbook updates
Employee Engagement & Partnering
· Collaborate with department heads to understand team dynamics and HR needs
· Drive initiatives that enhance employee experience, retention, and workplace culture
· Support performance management cycles, feedback sessions, and recognition programs
· Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across all HR touchpoints
Performance Management System
· Coordinate goal-setting, mid-year reviews and annual appraisals to ensure timely and fair evaluations
· Support managers in defining KPIs/OKRs and conducting effective feedback sessions
· Link performance outcomes with rewards, promotions and development opportunities
· Track and analyze performance data to identify high performers, skill gaps and improvement areas
Required Qualifications & Skills
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
· years of experience in HR operations, recruitment, or business partnering
· Strong understanding of HR best practices and labor regulations
· Proficiency in HRIS systems and recruitment tools (preferably People)
· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
