Job Summary:

The Accounts Executive (Inventory / Cost Accountant) will be responsible for ensuring accurate inventory accounting, reconciliation of physical stock versus ERP/store records, monitoring production consumption, and supporting audit requirements. This role ensures transparency, accuracy, and control over stock movement and cost-related activities

Job Description:

  • Reconcile physical stock with ERP and store records on a regular basis.
  • Review and analyse production consumption and investigate any variances or irregularities.
  • Prepare and record GRN (Goods Received Notes), Issue Vouchers, and other inventory-related documents.
  • Monitor and control obsolete, slow-moving, or damaged inventory.
  • Coordinate periodic physical stock counts with store, production, and audit teams.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing complete and accurate inventory and cost-related documentation.
  • Maintain proper filing of all inventory and stock movement records.

Qualification & Experience:

  • MBA/M.Com (Finance, Accounting, or related discipline).
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in inventory accounting, cost accounting, and stock reconciliation.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems, stock movement processes, and production costing.
  • Excellent analytical skills for variance investigation.
