Role Summary:
The Business Development Manager will lead sales efforts across the southern region, driving revenue growth through strategic planning and tailored technical solutions. This role involves managing the full sales cycle, building strong client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to meet customer needs. You will also stay updated on market trends to identify new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand our customer base.
- Identify and understand customer requirements to recommend suitable technical solutions.
- Provide product demonstrations, technical presentations, and sales support to prospective clients.
- Build long-term strategic plans for major accounts, focusing on retention, growth, and customer success.
- Act as the voice of the customer by translating technical and business feedback into actionable insights for product enhancements.
- Collaborate with implementation teams to ensure smooth hand-off post-sale and monitor early adoption phases.
- Ensure that products meet customers' needs.
- Collaborate with IT, product, and marketing teams to tailor solutions and address client feedback.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation through to negotiation and deal closure.
- Prepare and deliver technical proposals, pricing quotations, and product documentation.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and identify upselling opportunities.
- Conduct market analysis to stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and new technologies.
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and client meetings to promote products and services.
- Improve sales processes, methods, and approach.
Job Specification:
Basic Qualification:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or MBA a related field (Master's preferred).
Experience (No. Of Years):
- Minimum experience of 5+ years of technical sales experience, preferably in the IT industry preferable.
Soft Skills:
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding B2B sales targets.
- Strong understanding of complex technical products or systems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel as needed.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
