Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts & Taxation Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations, prepare and file FBR tax returns, and ensure compliance with all relevant taxation laws and regulations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of income tax, sales tax, withholding tax, and corporate taxation procedures in Pakistan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (Income Tax, Sales Tax, Withholding Tax, etc.) on IRIS and FBR portals.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and accounts for all transactions.
  • Assist in tax audits, reconciliations, and documentation as per FBR requirements.
  • Manage vendor tax deductions and ensure proper record-keeping for withholding taxes.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations, vouchers, and financial reports.
  • Handle e-filing, NTN, and STRN registrations or renewals.
  • Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and FBR officers when required.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, SECP regulations, and company financial policies.
  • Support management in financial planning, budgeting, and cost control.

Required Skills & Expertise:

  • Strong understanding of Pakistan's taxation system (Income Tax Ordinance, Sales Tax Act, FBR regulations).
  • Proficiency in FBR IRIS portal, Excel, and accounting software (QuickBooks, ERP, or similar).
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple filings simultaneously.
  • Strong ethics, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

  • B.Com / BBA / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or CA Inter / ACCA / ICMA (part qualified).
  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in accounts and taxation within a reputable organization or audit firm.
