SmartBenefits is looking for a driven and dynamic Business Development Specialist (B2B) to join our growing team This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about building long-term corporate relationships, understanding client needs, and delivering tailored employee benefits solutions that create real impact.
Responsibilities
Engage with corporate clients to understand their employee benefits needs and offer customized solutions aligned with their organizational objectives.
Collaborate with insurance and benefits partners to design and present comprehensive proposals that deliver measurable value.
Execute strategic plans to achieve annual sales targets, driving sustainable growth and business expansion.
Conduct research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, industry trends, and competitor insights to strengthen SmartBenefits' market positioning.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers and corporate stakeholders.
Lead client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to successfully close deals.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions, proposals, and deals in the CRM system.
Work collaboratively with internal teams, including marketing and operations, to ensure smooth service delivery and client satisfaction.
Provide ongoing client support, manage renewals, and address any concerns promptly.

Qualifications
2–3 years of experience in B2B or corporate sales, particularly in service-based or solution-driven industries
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Strong relationship-building and client engagement skills
Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently as well as within a team
Willingness to travel locally to meet corporate clients and attend meetings
