Job Description:
We're seeking a creative and detail-oriented Instructional Design & Content Development
Associate to support the creation of engaging, effective digital learning experiences. This
role is ideal for someone early in their instructional design career who is passionate about
education, skilled in content creation tools, and eager to grow in a fast-paced talent
development environment. You will work closely with team members and subject matter
experts to translate ideas into structured, visually appealing e-learning content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Course Creation & Development
- Content Structuring: Translate course framework documents and subject matter expert input into clear, instructionally sound learning content.
- E-Learning Development: Build interactive, visually engaging courses using Articulate Rise360 and other authoring tools, following established instructional design templates and standards.
- Visual & Multimedia Design: Use Canva to create supporting graphics, visuals, and simple animations that enhance learner engagement.
- Feedback Integration: Collaborate with stakeholders to collect and apply feedback throughout the course development process.
- Version Control: Maintain organized backups of course assets and documentation across local and cloud storage systems.
Instructional Design Support:
- Assist in aligning course materials with learning objectives, adult learning theory, and instructional design best practices.
- Contribute to brainstorming and planning sessions for new learning experiences, certifications, and content updates.
- Participate in quality assurance checks, ensuring content is accurate, consistent, and aligned with brand and instructional standards.
- Work closely with senior instructional designers and cross-functional partners to ensure smooth content delivery.
- Support internal documentation processes and content handoffs with clarity and accuracy.
Skills & Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in instructional design, e-learning development, educational content creation, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with Articulate Rise360 and Canva; familiarity with course-building tools and multimedia content creation.
- Working knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theory; ability to apply them under guidance.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to organize, edit, and version-control digital learning assets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to collaborate effectively with designers, SMEs, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Drive, etc.) and ability to manage structured content workflows.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a collaborative team environment.
- A proactive, learner-first mindset with a willingness to grow, take feedback, and contribute to high-quality learning experiences.
- Experience in a high-growth, fast-paced work environment is a plus.
