
Presales Engineer

In this role, you will serve as a technical advisor during the pre-sales process and play a key role in shaping proposals, solution architecture, and delivery planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand client needs and translate them into technical software/cloud solutions.
- Design high-level solution architectures, workflows, and integration approaches.
- Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to prepare technical proposals, SoWs, and pitch decks.
- Participate in discovery calls, gather technical and functional requirements.
- Support sales conversations with demos, presentations, and technical Q&A.
- Assist in building pricing models based on effort estimates and scope.
- Work with project managers and engineering leads to ensure smooth handoff of technical scope post-sale.
- Provide early guidance on architecture, tools, and tech stack considerations.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a sales engineering, solution architect, or technical consultant role.
- Solid understanding of custom software development and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in simple business terms.
- Comfortable with client-facing interactions, presentations, and proposal writing.
- Familiarity with software delivery lifecycles (Agile/Scrum) and DevOps practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
