Job Description

Kamstec International has been working in the field of Analytical and Scientific Equipment for several years. We provide sales, calibration, repair, and maintenance of our supplied instruments by visiting customers across various industries periodically. Our main customers are located in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, KPK, and Quetta. We are seeking a dynamic young individual with 4-5 years or more of experience in electronic item repair, with a good understanding of computers and software. We also need candidates with technical sales experience in related items.

For the Service position, the incumbent will be responsible for installation, demos, pre-installation surveys, follow-ups, and recovering outstanding payments, along with other service-related tasks. A good knowledge of component-level repair and understanding of software is essential.

We will consider fresh graduates for Trainee positions and experienced graduates for regular roles. Please mention your status on your CV along with contact details and expected salary.

Job Specification
  • Preferably hold a degree or diploma in Electronics, Applied Physics, or Chemistry.
  • Must own a motorcycle and a laptop.
  • Require 4-5 years of experience in repair and maintenance of instruments or in sales of similar instruments.
  • Must possess a pleasant personality, eagerness to learn, and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Experience in service and maintenance of analytical sciences or medical capital equipment, with preferred experience in spectrometers, HPLC, or other analytical instruments.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Ability to test and troubleshoot electrical analog and digital circuits is essential.
Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site installation, validation, and commissioning of instruments.
  • Perform hands-on troubleshooting, servicing, and repairs on-site.
  • Offer high-level technical support to external customers at their locations.
  • Conduct on-site training for customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including field applications, customer support, product management, manufacturing, and sales/marketing.
  • Develop service technical documentation.
  • Create and maintain service information in the company database.
  • Handle field service calls professionally and timely, including issue triage with field application scientists as needed.
  • Complete and submit all required paperwork promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to ensure satisfaction and implement corrective actions if necessary.
  • Perform other duties as appropriate for a Field Service Engineer role.
