ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Enterprise Account Manager plays a crucial role in driving strategic partnerships and achieving ambitious sales goals within Arwen Tech. This position requires a highly experienced and results-oriented individual with a proven track record in managing complex enterprise accounts. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional relationship-building skills, deep industry knowledge, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer value.
- Expand our work in new areas of the client's business through new offerings and services via approved contracting channels, and help originate sales opportunities to successful closure.
- Respond to RFPs around specific, approved opportunities.
- Manage the SOW and provide status updates to clients for the incremental work sold.
- Work closely with the commercial director to report on P&L and MIS for incremental sales.
- Create and manage account-based and industry-specific marketing programs, including in-person events, webcasts, email campaigns, and content syndication.
- Collaborate across business units (Digital, Campaigns, Product Marketing, Product Development, Go to Market) to align messaging, event formats, and goals.
- Build and maintain C-level relationships across lines of business to understand business goals, concerns, and priorities within key accounts.
- Partner with internal teams to build comprehensive account plans, ensuring long-term influence and achievement of sales goals.
- Identify new accounts and develop opportunities within existing accounts.
Routine work includes preparing weekly reports and quarterly review meetings, which must be communicated to higher management. Establishing an essential data recording system is part of the role.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSA's):
- Deep industry knowledge, motivated, highly structured and organized.
- Familiarity with Arwen's solutions and products; proficient in MS Office; strong account management and relationship skills.
- Reliable, responsible, dependable, driven to exceed sales targets; sound judgment; ability to manage decision-makers; capable of presenting and winning business cases with senior management.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degrees preferred.
- 7-10 years of experience in a related field (System Integrator); experience in IT sales or freight is advantageous.
- Experience in account management, territory sales, managing major accounts at head office level, highly self-motivated.
Technical and behavioral competencies include proven sales experience, teamwork, certifications, focus on targets, computer skills, presentation skills, enterprise management knowledge, initiative, and achievement orientation.
