Financial Manager Position

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with excellent IT skills and managerial experience.

  • Supervise and coordinate with staff to ensure day-to-day activities are completed effectively.
  • Meet with staff to obtain status updates and follow up on pending/aging payment issues.
  • Verify GRNs, store requisitions, payment vouchers, and receipt vouchers through the ERP system.
  • Check and verify master sheets for all ledgers (inventory, accounts, import/commercial, and BD).
  • Verify complete receipt cases.
  • Verify all types of payment advice.
  • Approve weekly payments and vouchers, ensuring tax deductions are made as required.
  • Check accounts and finance workings.
  • Conduct random internal audits.
  • Meet with the ERP vendor to ensure effective and timely implementation and progress reporting.
  • Prepare and present expenditure reports, financial statements, bank reconciliations, balance-sheet variances, and analysis.
  • Monitor and report income, supervise cash flow and expenditure, and identify trends to develop organizational projections for annual, quarterly, and monthly budgeting.
  • Supervise and check monthly payroll.
  • Monitor and audit petty cash expenses.
Key Responsibilities
  • ACMA/ACCA qualified with excellent IT skills.
  • Strong managerial skills, including interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to make formal presentations.
  • Streamline systems and procedures for error-free documentation.
