The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at a prestigious academic institution is seeking a dynamic professional to fill the position of Charge Technologist in its Clinical Laboratory.

Our Clinical Laboratory is accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) and caters to the entire nation's need through its tertiary lab at the main campus and numerous specimen collection units and stat labs across the country.

Key Responsibilities:- Organize and coordinate administrative and technical activities on a daily basis according to laboratory procedures and policies for smooth operation.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory protocol and policy guidelines.
- Handle staffing matters such as attendance, discipline, and counselling to implement laboratory and institutional policies regularly.
- Effectively communicate critical results in a timely manner and document accordingly.
- Perform routine and STAT clinical laboratory tests or technical procedures and finalize reports according to laboratory protocols and authorize when required.
- Create duty rota and approve staff overtime.
- Maintain compliance with CAP & JCIA standards.
