Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and monitor network performance for optimal results by ensuring Sophos Firewalls are configured correctly.
  • Administer and troubleshoot Ruckus WiFi networks to ensure seamless connectivity and high-quality user experience.
  • Perform routine tasks related to Windows Server, including Active Directory management, Group Policy administration, DNS/DHCP configuration.
  • Provide Level 2 support for network, server, and security-related incidents with high efficiency and attention to detail.
  • Conduct regular firewall policy updates, firmware upgrades, VPN setup, and monitoring to ensure data security and compliance.
  • Monitor network traffic and performance, optimize throughput and security for better results and improved productivity.
  • Handle Wi-Fi SSID setups, guest portals, VLAN tagging, and access point provisioning for enhanced user experience and streamlined access control.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory for streamlined access control and efficient resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with teams to resolve escalated issues and maintain a smooth workflow and effective communication.
  • Create and maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and infrastructure for easy reference and knowledge sharing.
  • Participate in audits and compliance efforts related to IT infrastructure to ensure adherence to regulations and industry standards.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support or network administration with a strong foundation and proven expertise.
  • Hands-on experience with Sophos XG/XGS Firewalls, including policies, NAT, IPS, VPNs, and regular updates.
  • Proficiency in Windows Server administration – Active Directory, GPO, DNS/DHCP, and LAN/WAN concepts, TCP/IP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills with attention to detail and strong communication abilities.
