We are seeking a skilled Key Account Manager to join our team.
Job Description:
Sales Performance:
- Plan and execute sales activities to achieve sales targets, revenue, and growth.
- Closely monitor sales performance to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance results.
Sales Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Sales team to develop and implement effective sales plans and strategies.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to evaluate the effectiveness of sales activities and make adjustments as needed.
Key Account Relationship Management:
- Buildeffective long-term relationships with Key Accounts through regular communication and timely resolution of issues.
- Act as the primary point of contact for existing and new customers, providing exceptional customer service and support.
Client Strategies:
- Develop and implement long-term strategies with clients to drive business growth and increase revenue.
- Closely monitor client needs and preferences to ensure that strategies remain relevant and effective.
Volume Forecasts and Plans:
- Prepare accurate volume forecasts and plans in coordination with the Brands team.
- Implement sales strategies to achieve forecasted volumes and drive business growth.
Interdepartmental Coordination:
- Collaborate with other departments involved with Key Accounts to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
- Closely coordinate with cross-functional teams to address customer needs and resolve issues promptly.
Distribution Strategy:
- Develop and implement distribution strategies to build weighted distribution in each region, city, or town.
- Closely follow up with distributors to ensure timely and effective implementation of distribution strategies.
In-Store Visibility:
- Develop and implement in-store visibility plans in coordination with the Brands team.
- Closely collaborate with local distributor's management to ensure timely and effective implementation of in-store visibility plans.
Annual Marketing Plans:
- Initiate and develop annual marketing plans as per strategy and guidelines set by direct management and regional marketing/brands team.
- Closely follow up on implementation and report progress and recommendations for changes.
Key Account Steering:
- Play a central role in steering Key Account Management in coordination with respective distributor's management.
- Aim to improve share of shelf versus competitors and enhance product visibility on consumers.
Progress Reports:
- Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements:
Education:
- B.Sc/B.Com/BA or BBA degree.
Experience:
- Proven 10 years' experience in key account management.
Sales and Customer Solutions:
- Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with key accounts at all organizational levels.
Organizational Skills:
- Excellent organizational skills and ability in problem-solving and negotiation.
