As a seasoned technical leader, we seek an experienced professional to oversee the management of SSGC Main Pipeline Instrumentation.

About the Role:
  • Maintaining pipeline instrumentation and pressure is crucial for uninterrupted and safe gas supply. Our ideal candidate will possess 9 years of relevant experience and at least 4 years as a Functional or Team Lead, with PEC registration mandatory for Engineers.
Your Key Responsibilities:
  • You will be responsible for providing technical support for pipeline operations, fabrication, commissioning, and maintenance of PODs and SMSs at HQ.
  • We expect you to implement efficient UFG control in the Transmission Network through effective instrumentation controls.
  • Supervising quality control checks is essential to guarantee system safety, effectiveness, and reliability; monitoring daily meter operations.
  • You will manage a team of engineers involved in pipeline operation, maintenance, and integrity management of the gas supply network.
  • Your expertise will support uninterrupted gas supply over PODs, valve assemblies, sales metering stations, and Liquid Handling Facilities.
  • You will develop expansion and rehabilitation plans for the network; supervise installation and commissioning tasks.
  • We require our Technical Leader to lead and train department staff; identify and assess risks within their management scope.
  • Last but not least, you will monitor risks and response strategies, ensuring timely risk reporting.

  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing teams.
  • Able to work under pressure, making sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical expertise in pipeline operations, instrumentation, and process control.
  • PEC registration is mandatory for Engineers.
