
Senior Business Development Manager

A highly skilled and motivated Senior Business Development Manager is required to join our team and support Senior Management in driving business growth and development.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strong relationships with business owners to help grow and develop their businesses and ours.
- Develop and pursue sales strategies and territory plans that effectively market to clients and customers to drive profitable sales growth.
- Develop territory analysis and execute sales strategies against analysis with data-driven decision making.
- Assist accounts with the formation and implementation of actionable plans, structure and best practices for business development.
- Retain and expand relationships to achieve portfolio retention, sales, service, and profitability objectives, and proactively develop relationships with new business clients.
- Achieve sales targets through the execution of self-generated business development.
- Ensure comprehensive marketing of our products while also ensuring the promotion of our organization and products.
- Work with the sales teams on a regular basis to achieve results, identify areas for opportunity.
- Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products.
- Identify ongoing business challenges and suggest appropriate action plans.
- Flexibility and adaptability are essential as BDMs are the liaison between the company's headquarters and their assigned territory stores.
- Play an active role in operations, including: warehouse operations, distribution, and logistics activities.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate and negotiate.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; English is mandatory.
- Self-starter with the confidence and ability to represent our team in a professional manner.
- Great communicator using technology with an advanced level in Microsoft Office and other data management & presentation tools.
- Positive attitude, personable, ability to easily establish rapport with new business clients.
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
