Freight Pricing Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Freight Pricing Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for negotiating and maintaining tariffs for key trade lanes, as well as developing a strong understanding of the business of critical customers.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience and a sound knowledge of Ocean/Air Freight & allied services commercials for routine and long-term freight contracts.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate and maintain tariffs for key trade lanes
  • Develop a strong understanding of the business of critical customers
  • Liaise with Shipping Lines and Network offices to ensure competitive pricing is sourced
  • Maintain and develop excellent carrier management
  • Monitor and report key performance parameters to ensure the department is running efficiently
Requirements:
  • Minimum Bachelor degree
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience
  • Sound knowledge of Ocean/Air Freight & allied services commercials
  • Excellent relationship with carriers
  • Demonstrated ability to handle pricing for large volumes
  • Good communication skills
