Payroll Operations Role

Welcome to a dynamic payroll operations team where you will have the opportunity to grow and excel in your career. We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Operations Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our payroll operations team, you will be responsible for administering payroll for US employees, conducting payroll audits, and implementing best practices in payroll processes.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in high-volume, multi-state payroll, demonstrating knowledge of regulatory compliance across states and experience with payroll processing for various legal entities. Additionally, the candidate should have a background in processing payroll for unions and familiarity with collective bargaining agreements and union pension health and welfare plans.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting payroll activities, analyzing and interpreting pay rules utilizing Workbrain Online Time and Attendance (OTA), Workday Time Tracking, Workday Payroll, and ServiceNow Case Management.
  • Researching payroll inconsistencies and irregularities to determine root cause and provide resolution.
  • Working with cross-functional counterparts to understand and resolve issues.
  • Becoming a payroll subject matter expert to resolve employee issues swiftly and efficiently.
  • Following and maintaining internal control policies, procedures, and compliance with respect to the payroll process.

You will work closely with our finance team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. In addition, you will participate in testing of payroll system related to process changes and enhancements.
